For each recognized partially sighted the Italian National Health Service is contributing to buy some optical, electronic or computerized aids. But this don’t cover the cost of the necessary visual rehabilitation and which can not always be paid from the visually impared! Only thanks to your solidarity it is possible to guarantee everyone a complete rehabilitation and give a hand to those who, till now, we were unable to help. Retinitis holds regular meetings with patients and their families addressed on the following issues: • learn new strategies to improve visual function: from rehabilitation to surgery. • Identify methodologies and tools for each specific need. • provide information about the recognition of disability and how to receive visual aids from the Health National Service.
To continue to develop this project we also need your help, that's why your donations are important to support Retinitis in its assistance activities, training and research.
